3. Plugins and Tools

Google reCAPTCHA v3

We use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to determine whether data entry on this website (e.g., in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program.

For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google.

reCAPTCHA v3 analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place. Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR and § 25 (2) TDDDG. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its site from abusive automated crawling and spam.

AniList API

We integrate the AniList API on our website to display personalized anime lists. This service is provided by AniList. To fetch this data, your browser establishes a direct connection to the AniList servers. In doing so, your IP address and user-agent string may be transmitted. The use of this service is based on our legitimate interest in presenting appealing and dynamic content on our website according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.
